OVERTHINK GALORE

Helloo! It's 7th of December which means that there are only nineteen days till Christmas. This year I'm feeling extremely festive and I already started decorating my house (room mostly) for the Christmas and New Year. I'm so bloody excited.

Today I'm writing an update on my hair. If you're following me on Instagram you know that I did balayage back in May and absolutely loved it. I have never thought that a simple haircut/hair color can change the why you look at yourself. But that surely happened to me. It somehow gave me confidence and simply it completed me as a person.

When it comes to my hair I'm really lazy to go to a hair salon so I left it to grow and do her thing. And with time it became really damaged and broom-like so I decided that I had to do something about it. I like my hair long and this length is perfect for me so I didn't want to cut short or anything like that. I know that I will have to do it at some point but at the moment I just can't.
After days of searching for the ways to somehow fix my hair my friend told me that I should try Olaplex treatment.

What is Olaplex you ask? Olaplex is system that permanently rebuilds the damaged disulphide bonds in your hair that are broken during the chemical process. If you've over-bleached over the years or just have bleached your hair,  Olaplex allows you to rebuild the strength, structure and integrity of your hair; a 'reset' for your locks, if you want to say it like that.

So I went to the first hairdresser that knew how to do Olaplex and I could see the difference after the first wash. After a year my hair had shine again and felt so soft and looked really beautiful and healthy which I honestly thought would never happen again.
This is not paid or sponsored I simply loved it and had to share it with you guys. So if you ever want to repair your hair try this treatment I guarantee you that it will help you.

Hi guys. Because I have final exams next week so I've been studying most of the time in the last few weeks, so I didn't have the time to think about anything original so I decided to write a 'favorites' post.
Here are some of mine May Favorites.
Beyoncé Midnight Heat - I've always loved strong fragrances so when I found this parfume few months ago I had to buy it. It's perfect perfume for everyday especially if you like strong scents. And it's from the Queen B so you know you can't go wrong with it.
Little Black Dress Body Cream - I think that every single person that tried the Little Black Dress perfume fell in love with it and I'm not the exception. Long time ago I bought this cream but for some unknown reason I never used it, that's until my sister found it in the cabins and asked me about it. The scent's the same as in the perfume which it simply beautiful. When it comes to the structure of the cream it's oily, so you don't need a lot of it. After using it your body smells great and the scent last a long time.
Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hours Foundation - Since I have really unique skin color (it's almost the lightest but not quiet the lightest skin color, so most foundations are too light) it's really hard to find the perfect foundation for me. Luckily I found this one. I've been using this foundation for almost two years now so it's not the new favorite but I had to include it in this because it's simply amazing. It doesn't last 25 hours as it says on the cover but it gives you the feeling and look like you're not wearing any foundation but it covers almost everything.
Astor Concealer stick - This product is simply incredible. I haven't been using it for a long time but I can tell you one thing, it covers every single spot completely and trust me I've tried many concealers and this is the best one I've tried.
Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliner Spice 11 - Creamy lipliner which I mostly use all over my lips and to my surprise it doesn't dry my lips. And it's this beautiful brown/red color.
Farmasi Happy Face Pressed Powder - If you haven't heard of Farmasi and you live on Balkan where have you been hiding. It's a new company in this area but everyone is loving it. I got this powder as a present for woman's day and have been using it ever since. This is really great powder and it stays on face for a long time.
Le Petit Marseiliais Baum Nourrissant - I found this by accident in CM market, it was something new with a pink lovely cover so I had to try it out. It doesn't smell like I thought it would, it's not spring scent but after this your legs and whole body will have the loveliest glow for a long time.
Ovnak professional hairbrush - First of all the color of this brush is just gorgeous. Personally I never thought it matters which hairbrush you use and let me tell you something I've never been more wrong in my life. Not only does this brush make the combing of your hair painless but even if you have knots you will not feel a thing.
Delia Big&Black Max Volume mascara -  If you're not the fake lashes kind of a girl this is a perfect mascara for night out. It makes your lashes super long and they really pop. And it has the smell of summer which is something you would never expect of mascara.
Essence Volume Boost mascara - Since I have world smallest lashes I really needed some amazing everyday mascara and I've finally found it. This really gives the volume to your lashes.
These are my May Favorites what are yours? And if any of you have exams coming soon I wish you all the luck of this world to pass them and get great grades.

It finally happened. My friends and I have been waiting for this trip for months and it finally happened. Since I live in Sarajevo it took us over 18 hours to get there, but it was worth it. Greece is such a beautiful country. People are nice, which I haven't expected to be honest. But they don't know English so sometimes it was hard to communicate. We stayed there for three days and I wish I could go back. The thing I was most excited for was of course the beach, which was amazing. Water in Paralia was cold so we couldn't swim but it didn't stop us from getting our feet wet.
On the first day we explored Paralia, Katerinis we went on the pier and visited some local shops. I was amazed by the elegant structure of St. Paraskevi Church. On the second day we visited Thessaloniki, second largest city in Greece. It's also called Solun, but most locals know it as Thessaloniki. Sadly we had only few hours to explore it, so we just visited city center and The White Tower of Thessaloniki. But still we could see that's beautiful city with such special spirit and culture.
Altogether, this was a short but nice trip, I can't wait till I visit other places and share my stories with you.

Last week I was out with my friends and as you do, we got to the important questions in life and one of them was Happiness. It got me thinking how I'm actually really lucky and how simple things in life make me happy. Happiness is something that we usually don't notice until it's gone and when it's gone we get disappointed that we didn't enjoy it while we had the chance. Usually it doesn't last long, so we need to find happiness in little things, otherwise we won't be happy. Simple as that. So this week I decided to make a list of things that make me happy, I recommend you do this as well especially if you're feeling down or depressed.

  • 1. Rainy mornings, when you're tucked in the bed with strong coffee and good book
  • 2. Late night talks with someone special when you're half asleep and the conversation is honest
  • 3. Night out with friends
  • 4. Getting ready to go out
  • 5. Listening to favorite music
  • 6. Watching new movies and series
  • 7. Buying new clothes and shoes
  • 8. Visiting and exploring new places
  • 9. Getting to know someone
  • 10. Making new friends

  • These are some of mine reason to be happy, what are yours?

Even though it's the middle of April, here in Sarajevo we can finally say that spring is here. After the months and months spent in layers of warm clothes we can finally leave our jackets at home and go outside and enjoy the Sun. I'm that type of person who loves snow and cold weather (strange I know) but I honestly missed Sun and high temperature. The fact that every morning when I wake up I can enjoy Sun puts me automatically in good mood. Spring equinox came as well. Even though I love my sleep, and would probably kill for it (if I had to), I can't complain, after all days are longer, we get more time to get things done. And if you're at all like me, you need all the time you can get. Honestly who can complain, you go out and see nature waking up, flowers blooming and kids playing. Simple things like that should bring joy to our lives. (Sure allergies are awful but let's concentrate on positive things right now. )

In last week I had a couple days off so I took this opportunity to go out, enjoy this beautiful weather and take some pictures of my beautiful city that I have luck to call home. Spring in Sarajevo is something special.
Since this is my first post, I would love if you would leave some feedback and tell me what you think.
